Safe removal of pH/ORP sensors from hazardous media

pH and ORP sensors need to be removed from the process for recalibration on a regular basis. Removing a sensor from a pressurised pipe or tank can be dangerous, particularly if hot, aggressive or toxic media are involved.

Analytical assemblies with special safety features such as built-in ball valves, automatic locking or “Quick ‘n‘ Safe” mechanisms allow for trouble-free sensor installation and removal without product spillage. Assemblies with shut-off devices allow the sensor to be removed when process pressure is present.
